Illustration Friday: Tranquility

My illustration for this week's Illustration Friday. Topic: tranquility. This piece is entitled "Peaceful Crane" and is done in watercolor and mixed media. I love the Daniel Smith watercolors , which I used for this. Like my contribution for last week, it was inspired by Tibetan Buddhist imagery.

Fern Lady, we're definitely on the same page here! I like the sense that the crane is craning her neck towards the moon, which is also drawing the dots and the stars (and the water, no doubt) - there is something pleasantly meditative about the way you've composed this. Very tranquil!
